Description
PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy) plastic, also known as melt-processable polytetrafluoroethylene, is a copolymer of a small amount of perfluoropropyl perfluoroethylene ether and PTFE. Unlike PTFE, PFA can be melt-processed, allowing it to be formed into complex shapes through standard thermoplastic processing techniques.

Processing Properties
PFA has lower melt viscosity, making it easier to process through extrusion, injection molding, and other melt-processing methods. This allows the production of finer and more complex tubular structures. -
Mechanical Properties
PFA exhibits superior mechanical strength and creep resistance, providing better performance in load-bearing pressure, bending resistance, and dimensional stability. -
Appearance
PFA tubes are generally semi-transparent, while PTFE tubes are typically opaque milky white. -
Application Areas
PFA is more competitive for applications requiring higher precision, greater pressure resistance, and better transparency.
