Description

The TEK Resilient Seated Gate Valve is a double flange ductile iron gate valve designed for reliable isolation and shut-off applications in potable water distribution, water treatment plants, sewerage systems, reservoirs, and other municipal water infrastructure. Featuring a resilient EPDM rubber-coated wedge and non-rising stem design, the valve provides bubble-tight sealing, low operating torque, and long service life with minimal maintenance.

Manufactured in accordance with BS 5163-1:2004 and BS EN 1074-2, the valve is engineered to deliver dependable performance under working pressures up to PN16 (16 Bar). Its ductile iron body is protected with Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) coating to provide excellent corrosion resistance for underground and above-ground installations.

The resilient seated wedge minimizes leakage while reducing wear on sealing surfaces, making the valve ideal for long-term operation in clean water systems.
