TEK Standard Air Valve (DN50–DN250)
Description
The TEK Standard Air Valve is a ductile iron double orifice air relief valve with an integral isolating valve, specifically designed to automatically release trapped air during pipeline operation and admit air during pipeline filling or draining. It helps prevent air pockets, vacuum conditions, water hammer, and flow restrictions, ensuring efficient and reliable pipeline performance.
Manufactured in accordance with JKR 20200-0097-01 and ANSI/AWWA C512, the valve is suitable for potable water transmission, water treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, irrigation networks, and other municipal water distribution systems. Its removable cover casing allows quick inspection and maintenance of the float mechanism without dismantling the entire valve.
The valve features a durable ductile iron body with a high solid epoxy coating for excellent corrosion resistance. Equipped with an integral isolating valve, maintenance can be carried out safely without shutting down the entire pipeline system, reducing downtime and operating costs.
